From KL To Malacca/Melaka
How did I end up coming all the way to Malacca? It was an impulse trip. The night before,I was planning to visit to Melaka by bus from Kuala Lumpur. My family and I and a friend of my son were
vacationing in Kuala Lumpur.I heard that by bus only took two and a half hours, and this proved right.
Malacca is the historical state of Malaysia, rich with heritage buildings, ancient landmarks and colonial structures.
We started our ride from Imbi Station because it was near to our hotel. We walk to Imbi monorail staion next to Berjaya Times Square. There we use the monorail and arrived at another train station.I couldn'r remember all as this was two years ago already.A very late post.
From KL sentral we use the KTM train to Bandar Tasik Selatan.
Upon arriving at Bandar Tasik Selatan station on the KTM commuter train,we need to walk acroos a pedestrain bridge to
the main bulding of TBS-Terminal Bersepadu Selatan.
There you can pick many buses you like.
We book the Delima bus because I think it is the cheapest. At that time costing RM10.00 per person.
It is an aircon bus,not bad, quite comfortable sitting in and can't complain more because it is cheap as long as the aircon is functioning and cool. The driver is efficient and brought us to a safe journey.
After 2 and a half hour, the bus reached the Malacca central bus terminal.Everyone gets down.
At first,I was in a dilemma, not knowing where to go or where to visit in Malacca and how to go about, and what kind of transport that can fit in 6 people? It was getting boring.I wish I hadn't came
here.
My mind went back to history taught at school about malacca. The only thing that I can think of is the famous "A Famosa" and the red red house.Isn't Malacca is famous for the red house? Not sure what the place is called,I told the taxi driver that we wanted to go to the red red house. They knew what we were talking about.Yes,there was a red house. The taxi driver advises us to use 2 taxis but I do not want to be splited.I want us to go together. It was no fun. So,I say no no and think of an alternative.
That was when I saw a counter that look like ticketing counter.I went there to ask the man in the counter and he told me we can use no.17 bus.He pointed at the red bus and told us to be quick since the bus will be leaving soon.We rushed to the bus and ask the driver and were on our way to the red house. Each passenger only pays one ringgit malaysian.(RM1)

When the bus finally stop in front of the red house,I was so excited.I had always wanted to visit the
red house and "A Famosa".Later then I found out that "A Famosa" is just a few distance away from the red house.I was so happy that I can finally come to this historical sites.I noticed that there were many tourists from all over the world.
The nice looking river. So beautiful view.I could stand here forever.
I'm glad that I've landed here.I love history.
The christ church Malacca. The spelling Melaka is in malay-the national language of Malaysia.

When you are here, remember to walk to "Jonker Street".The china town of Malacca.
The view of the river was very beautiful.
